- Music Department
- Conceived by Edda Silvestri, formerly Director of the Santa Cecilia Conservatoire in Rome, the Music Department sets out to provide training of the very highest level for instrumentalists, composers and opera singers. At its core are the Three-year, Two-year and MAS courses (Master of Advanced Studies).
The Music Department also offers foundation courses di preparing students for entrance examinations, together with youth courses for children and teenagers. Aimart also runs one-year courses for adults who wish to take up an instrument or a musical discipline, providing the grounding needed to enter the three-year and two-year degree courses, as well as Advanced Training courses, for those who already hold a Conservatoire Diploma or wish to refine the skills they have acquired by studying with teachers of the highest standing. Completing the programme, the Academy regularly schedules meetings and masterclasses with leading artists exploring technical and interpretative aspects of the repertoire. Aimart courses follow a syllabus comparable to that of the Conservatoires. - Artistic Activities
- Aimart regularly presents concerts in Rome and other cities, giving its finest students the chance to perform in public and raising the profile of its work locally.
Student Satisfaction
The Evaluation Board measures how satisfied students are with the Academy. A questionnaire has been drawn up for this purpose, in the form of an assessment sheet, and is given to students over 18 to be completed anonymously and placed in a sealed box kept in the André room (the library). The questionnaire is attached as an appendix.
The most recent survey, carried out in the 2023/2024 academic year, was given to 65 students of age, with a response rate of 80% (52 people).
